Vintage 1950's Cameron Rodzy Standard Gas-Powered Hot-Rod Model Tether Car w/Box. Collectible. Black Red
🏁 Tether cars, gas-powered model race cars, were were raced individually while tethered to a central pivot. Cameron Precision Engineering, of Sonora, California, produced this model based on a Ford Model A hot rod. The grille and faux carburetor velocity stacks added detail to the model.
🏁 Cameron Precision Engineering Rodzy Tether Car in original box. This Cameron black and red Rodzy Tether car circa late 1940’s to early 1950’s.
🏁 Single owner - this car belonged to my father. He received this car as a birthday gift when he turned 12. It’s been in temp controlled storage for decades and now I’ve been asked by the family to sell it.
🏁 Rodzy car is in its original box, has its original pamphlet/instructions and the little factory parts packet with one triangular shaped accessory (I’m not sure what it’s called).
🏁 Rodzy Tether Car is in vintage condition. Box, pamphlet, and packet have discoloration from age as well as torn pieces, faded areas, and other flaws. Car looks good, but does have some scuffs, scratches, dings, and possible other blemishes. The underside of the car shows the most wear. Please be aware I have not tested this car nor do I know how it even works. I do not know if there are missing parts. I’m more then happy to answer any questions to the best of my ability.
