    This listing is for 1  M96 Swedish Mauser Bayonet locking clip......in good + condition with finish wear.....used to secure the scabbard to the model 1896 and model 1938  for use during bayonet drill practice......which clips over  the scabbard frog stud and snaps over the bayonet handle....... allowing the soldier to safely  exercise bayonet drills with use of the actual bayonet......if you have ever wondered why the M96 scabbards seem in worn beat up condition its from doing this drill.....made from spring steel , blued and painted finish is worn and marked with the   Swedish Single Crown  .....This earlier type was marked only with the  single
    contemporary
    crown.......and are considered rare....
