Vehicles with Adaptive Drive or 4-Zone Climate Control have a plastic cover on the front of the water pump, use a 7 rib Drive Belt , and have an A/C belt.
Vehicle without Adaptive Drive or 4-Zone Climate Control have an all metal pump, use a 6 rib Drive Belt, and do NOT have an A/C belt.

Pierburg Electric Water Pump
Pierbug is the original water pump supplier to BMW for this application. These water pumps use OE-bearings for low noise and maximum durability. The internal seals are made of silicon carbide for high-pressure resistance and to reduce noise.  The installation bolt set is included.
