Description

huskystar 224. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
I purchased this machine new and it has been well maintained.  I got a new machine to replace it.  I have sewn many different types of fabric with this from home decor, lace, lycra, satin, denim, corduroy.  Ive put in zippers and made button holes, as well as cording, quilt bindings, bias tape.  It works wonderfully and sews very straight lines.  It is easy to use.  The original book and dust cover are included, as well as all the feet and the power cord and foot pedal.
There are 2 minor issues.  The threader wire snapped.  It is replaceable as it is held in place with a screw, so that is a really easy fix.  The other issue is the needle up/down button doesn't work.  I am not sure what the issue with that is, but it has the knob on the side so it is easy to manually raise or lower the needle, I just use that.  If I were to keep it, I might have those fixed, but it works perfectly fine without either.
I hae cared for this machine well and it hasn't had a ton of use, I wanted a fully electric machine and bought something a little bigger.  This one is absolutely perfect for someone starting out or a recreational sewer and it served me well in making everything I wanted when I was starting out.
