    Description

In 1938, Hong Kong issued a set of King George VI regular issues.
The first printing of the 30ct olive bister was on chalky paper and had a sharp impression (Scott #161).
It is scarce since it was soon replaced by an issue on ordinary paper with a coarse impression.
This stamp offered here is a mint example with full original gum and has been lightly hinged.
The stamp is nicely centered and has excellent color
