    Description

    Cox Thimble Drome Champion Tether Car w/ period modifications. So hard to get well done mods that show the history of the hobby. One of a kind. The 1949/50 Thimble Drome Champion pusher was built around a mid 40’s Dennymite .57 airstream engine. The oversized back tires/rims are from a Dooling F series/ type looks to be new rubber.? The front rims and tires are aftermarket ScatCat ball bearings spinners. The body showed signs of rust and many years of neglect so it was sent out to be professionally polished. The engine was left with minimal cleanup just to highlight the points of sight. Brake, oil pump, exhaust, and grille are original parts. Again this was a build from early 50’s.
