Vintage Collection of Four
Seattle Seafair Pins
This collection consists of the 1960 pin, the 25
th
anniversary 1974 pin, the 1977 pin, and the 35
th
anniversary 1979 pirates pin.
All four pins are in excellent condition (see below) and promote the annual Seafair festivities in Seattle, WA highlighted by the hydroplane races on Lake Washington.

The 1960 pin is a traditional design w/white lettering and a hydroplane on blue plastic.
·
The 1974 pin is a more ornate metal pin w/the traditional ship’s wheel and hydroplane w/the Space Needle protruding from the top.
The center of the wheel features the “25”.

The 1977 pin is a newer design in red, white and blue on a metal map of Washington w/a hydroplane and a tall ship.
·
The 35
th
year 1979 pin is a large (2.25” diameter) plastic-covered metal “I’ve Been HAD” Seattle Seafair Pirates pin w/black lettering on a bright red background.
The back of the pirate pin has manufacturer’s defects which look like ink smudges.
This collection of vintage pins would be a great addition to any Seattle Seafair collection!
