Brother's Feeding System assures incredible feeding, each and every time regardless of whether the fabric is a lightweight chiffon or heavy denim. Free motion quilting to old fashion darning is easy with the drop-feed system. No hard to use darning plates, just push the drop feed switch over and the feed will drop.
Automatic Needle Threader
With the Brother PS500 Sewing Machine advanced built-in needle threader system, threading the needle is fast, easy, reliable and effortless. Simply following the printed steps found on the machine from 1-9, push down a lever and your needle is threaded! It is that simple! No more straining of the eyes or spending a lot of time struggling to put the thread through the tiny eye of the needle. The Automatic Needle Threader does it for you!
Easy-To-Use Control Panel
The Control Panel located at the front of the machine is extremely user friendly. Sporting a Backlit LCD Screen with Fast Navigation, selecting and setting a stitch couldn't be easier. And a simple glance at the screen will tell you exactly what stitch you are currently set to and the corresponding stitch length and width.
Easy Stitch Selection
To select a stitch simply press either the up or down arrow on the control panel. Since the machine is computerized you do not have to set the stitch length and width, the machine will do it automatically for you!

Want to override the pre-set Stitch Width? No Problem! Simply press the Stitch Length/Width Adjustment Button and use the +/- buttons to easily increase or decrease the Stitch Width.

Bobbin winding is easier with the Brother Innov-ís Pacesetter PS500 Computerized Sewing Machine. Wind the thread four or five times around the bobbin, pass it through the guide slot, and press the start button. Simple.
Easy To Use Functions
A conveniently located Function Panel is located right in front of the user, allowing easy access to the Start/Stop Button, Reverse Button, and Reinforcement Stitch Button. Reverse Button - The Reverse Sewing Button is located conveniently at the front of the machine. Start/Stop Button - You can start and stop the machine with the touch of a button. Reinforcement Stitch Button - Sew a single stitch repeatedly and tie-off or for decorative stitches, end with a full pattern.

Also located right in front of the user, is the Programmed Thread Trimming Button, and a Needle Up/Down Button. Needle Up/Down Button - You can set the needle in the highest or lowest position. Occasionally bulky layers of fabric require additional pressure from the foot; sheer fabrics need less. The Pacesetter PS500 lets you control precisely how firmly the foot is pressing on your fabric. There are 4 different settings so you can find the right setting for your material and get the same outcome every single time.

The Flat Bed Attachment also has built-in accessory storage. Store your sewing feet, bobbins, needles and more with the machine at all times. Have all accessories on hand without taking up any extra space!
Free Arm Capability
Want to sew on Shirt Sleeves or Pants? No problem, simply remove the Free Arm and by sliding it to the left and you are ready to sew.
Quick Flip-Up Stitch Chart
Located at the top of the machine is a convenient flip-up stitch panel that shows you all of the Built-In Stitches at a glance.
