We have a used, all metal heavy duty COMMODORE De luxe
Sewing Machine made in Japan 50's, by Brother Sewing Machine, in very good working condition with excellent stitch quality on both sides.
This machine has been completely serviced, checked and cleaned. It's in excellent working condition.
This sewing machine was tested on 2 layer of 5oz
leather,
8 layer of heavy denim, 6 layer of
canvas
and worked great. Useing standard 15x1, sizes #18 needle. This sewing machine uses needle sizes from 9 to 22, you can buy at any fabric store or Walmart. All tests were made useing a #18 needle and Coats .T26 upholstery thread is equivalent to commercial #69 nylon thread.
