Utility markers are set into concrete to mark where utility lines are hidden.   Usually, they are set at the time the curbing is poured, but can also be set into a drilled hole with epoxy.  These high quality markers are made of brass and are 2.5" across with a 2.5" stem.  Marked with the one of the following letters 'S'-sewer or 'W'-water.
