FREE SHIPPINGThis set of three different musical cassette tapes feature
s Ron Bopp's Bruder,
music from my late husband's collection. I'm neither a musician nor a carousel expert. Each cassette is still in its original wrapping--unopened and unplayed.
I've photographed the list of tunes in each cassette from both perspectives, because reflections made the titles hard to read on one side. And also included is the liner notes from the "Favorites" tape. It reads in part:
"Enjoy the favorite sounds played on this 52-key Gebruder Bruder fairground organ. Made in 1915 in Waldkirch, Germany, this organ was immediately imported into the United States for use on a carousel. Playing 187 pipes as well as drums, cymbal and triangle, this German-made organ plays the familiar favorite melodies with the fairground sound that brings out the best in the music as well as the organ."
In addition to the "Favorites" cassette, one tape focuses on Circus music, and the other on the Picnic theme. You can find all sorts of traditional music here, along with Teddy Bear's Picnic, Mary Poppins Medley, Jingle Bells, Barnum and Bailey's Favorite March, Armed Forces Medley, The Man on the Flying Trapeze, and many many more.
Ron Bopp, who arranged for these recordings of his amazing fairground organ, is also the author of The American Carousel Organ.
I'm Mark Bassett, author and collector.
