ANTIQUE VINTAGE STERLING SILVER  and  MOTHER OF PEARL PARASOL UMBRELLA or CANE HANDLE 1905
WELL DEFINED 3 DIMENTIONAL FLOWERS STEMS and LEAVES all in STERLING.
During the Victorian - Edwardian era, parasols and canes and were the height of fashion. Intricate 3 dimentional matching floral designs on each section of sterling.
Monogrammed with 3 flowing letters on top and a 1905 monogram on the lower portion.
Monograms can be found on many. This gives the piece a sense of history.
Very nice condition with a few little scratch and tiny ding marks.
Lovely pearly grey shading in the carved mother of pearl with no chips or cracks.
The two sections of silver are marked STERLING  .
The top section is 3" long the MOP  measures 3 3/4" in length and the lower section is 2 1/4", A total of 9". The top is 2 1/2" on the diagonal.
Outstanding. Just lovely to display these great pieces of history.
