    Description

1943 censored airmail cover sent by an Australian solder during World War II (WWII) to Hobart, Tasmania, Australia.
The envelope has the logo of the wartime Australian YMCA at top left.  Given that WWII was ongoing, it is not surprising that the envelope was examined by censors, with a boxed handstamp reading "Australian Military Forces, Passed by Censor 1050."  There is also a red handstamp reading "139999  10 Aug. 1943  46."  It has a cancellation reading Postal Stn. 99, and it is franked with one 3d Australian stamp.
The cover is in excellent, clean condition.
It is a Very Fine piece ready to enhance any collection of Australian or WWII-era postal history.
