Description
Up for sale is a new water pump rebuild kit for the following applications:
1939-53 GMC trucks 10-35 228ci 3.7L I6 engines.
1939-42 GMC trucks 10-35 236ci 3.8L I6 engines.
1939-55 GMC trucks 10-35 248ci 4.1L I6 engines.
1940-41 GMC trucks 10-35 256ci 4.2L I6 engines.
1941-59 GMC trucks 10-35 270ci 4.5L I6 engines.
This is for the OEM casting number is 598309.
This kit consists of the following parts:
1- New 5/8" water pump bearing.
1- New water pump seal.
2- New back plate screws.
1- New back plate gasket.
1- New mounting gasket.
You will need to reuse your old pulley, impeller and back plate.
This new water pump comes with a 30 day warranty.
NOTE: You must machine the casting sealing surface properly or your water pump WILL leak.
