Description
This is a Red Arrow #764 tether car made by Kingston Products Corp, Toy Division out of Kokomo, IN electric tether cars and 4 pieces of track to display it with of track. This is red arrow speed racer car all with the clip in driver ( the drivers are extremely rare and these are not bent or chipped) It also has the super rare windshield cowlings for in front of the driver. It has been over 30 years since I saw another car with the original windshield on it.The car have what appears to be the original paint. there are chipping and rust areas on th bottom edges of the cars. I will try to get better photos, better photos if you request them
The rubber on the tires is very solid, no cracks and they are a nice black, not dull.
There are 4 sections of like new track that are 14 1/2" long to use for display
INSURANCE IS A MANDATORY EXTRA
Additional insurance in a mandatory extra, and is not calculated in the shipping rates
FedEx insurance is .10 to 0 and then 0.70 per extra 0 of value,
USPS Priority insurance costs more .60 to 0 and then .50 per 0 of additional value
FROM THOSE NUMBERS, THE FEDEX OPTION SEEMS LIKE A MUCH BETTER VALUE. THOSE ARE THE RATES I FOUND POSTED ONLINE FOR BOTH FEDEX AND USPS INSURANCE; I AM NOT ADDING ANYTHING EXTRA ON THAT FEE
If you would like more specific photos of the cars or track, just email me
I will try and get better photos in the next day or so with better lighting to show the cars
Have dozens more photos to share if you want them they will give you better details of the condition of the set. It all appears to be original condition. Been in the collection for almost 40 years.
This is listed as car #3. I have 4 of them, 3 that are very similar condition with drivers and windshield cowlings. One car has a rear wheel broken off the stub axle shaft, tire and wheel are there and it has the driver, but is missing the windshield cowling. Each will be listed separately.
The red paint on car # 3 has more paint chips than car # 2 and less rust than car # 1. There is a dent on the stop side of the hood, on the left side about in the middle of the car, visible in the photos. I will also include a copy, not the original page of general instructions, it is about 17' x 26". The original sheet will be listed after all 4 cars are sold. There will also be more lengths of track and a coil of track to be listed later.
Thanks
