Load 35mm film into your Hasselblad C12 film back with light plug!
This Film Adapter Kit lets you load normal 35mm film into your C12 film magazine. It also includes the very necessary light plug that fits into the opening in the back. This same plug will also work if you shot 220 film that doesn't come with the paper backing.
You can also use these with our 100% compatible adapters that convert 120 film to 116, 118, 122, 130 and 616 (
sold separately
).
With this set you can also use the three 35mm adapters in nearly any 120 film camera.
The parts are printed with a very solid PETG polymer, which is even stronger than the 120 spool material itself!
The KIT come with two universal adapters, one take-up spool and 1 light plug. (4 pcs)
Adapters are easy to use and offer several benefits:
Adapters allow you to use 35mm films that are not available in 120 format.
Because of the 35mm films size when shot in a 120 format camera the entire 35mm film is exposed (height wise) giving a unique visual effect.
A little trial and error is to be expected.
The C12 back is better for shooting 35mm film than the A12 back. Mainly because its not as automated, you don't waste as much film in the beginning. Because you can reset the frame counter without unloading the film, you can get to 12 exposures, reset it and shoot another 10 before your 36 exposure 35mm film runs out.
You will want to unload it in the dark and roll the film back into the canister - or directly load the film into a developing tank.
